Viele Schweizer Unternehmen wie Nestl\u00e9, die Pharma- und Chemieunternehmen oder der Liftbauer Schindler k\u00f6nnen auf eine lange Tradition zur\u00fcckblicken und seit \u00fcber 100 Jahren gibt es einen Handelsvertrag mit Kolumbien. In den letzten Jahren kamen ein Doppelbesteuerungs- und ein Investitionsschutzabkommen dazu und im September 2009 hat die Schweiz als erstes Industrieland ein bilaterales Freihandelsabkommen mit Kolumbien ratifiziert. Das Abkommen ist im Jahr 2011 in Kraft getreten. Kolumbien ist auch ein Schwerpunktland der wirtschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit des SECO.<\/p>\n
Die ask! kritisiert die mangelnde Koh\u00e4renz der Schweizer Aussenpolitik zu Kolumbien. Einerseits betreibt das Aussendepartement eine progressive Menschenrechts- und Friedensf\u00f6rderungsarbeit, andererseits wird ein Freihandelsabkommen ohne jegliche Sozial- und Menschenrechtsklausel ratifiziert. Beim Staatssekretariat f\u00fcr Wirtschaft fehlt das Bewusstsein f\u00fcr menschenrechtsrelevante Themen weitgehend und Verst\u00f6sse gegen die Menschenrechte durch Schweizer Unternehmen erfahren nicht die notwendige Aufmerksamkeit. Zudem setzt die Schweizer Regierung im Bereich Unternehmen und Menschenrechte weiterhin fast ausschliesslich auf freiwillige Massnahmen und regelt auch Hochrisikobereiche wie den Goldhandel nur ungen\u00fcgend.<\/p>\n
