Die Arbeitsgruppe Schweiz Kolumbien ask! wurde 1987 gegr\u00fcndet. Seither engagierte sich die ask! daf\u00fcr, den Anliegen der kolumbianischen Zivilbev\u00f6lkerung eine Stimme zu geben. Mit Informations- und politischer Lobbyarbeit setzte sich die ask! f\u00fcr Direktbetroffene ein, unabh\u00e4ngig von politischen Parteien oder Bewegungen. Die Friedens- und Menschenrechtsarbeit umfasste auch regelm\u00e4ssige Kampagnen und kulturelle Anl\u00e4sse. In Koordination mit wichtigen kolumbianischen (Basis-) Organisationen wurden mit politischen und gewaltfreien Mitteln globale Missst\u00e4nde und Menschenrechtsverletzungen aufgezeigt, um strukturelle Ver\u00e4nderungen in Kolumbien und der Schweiz zu erreichen. Die ask! war ein politisch und konfessionell unabh\u00e4ngiger Verein mit Regionalgruppen in Bern, Luzern und Z\u00fcrich sowie Aktivmitgliedern in der ganzen Schweiz. <\/p>\n

An einer ausserordentlichen Generalversammlung vom 18. Juni 2024 beschlossen die anwesenden Mitglieder, den Verein aufzul\u00f6sen. Grund daf\u00fcr war vor allem die Tatsache, dass die Anzahl aktiver Mitglieder abnahm und immer weniger Freiwilligenarbeit geleistet wurde, welche ein tragender Pfeiler der ask! war. Die ask! hat deshalb ihre Aktivit\u00e4ten per Ende Juni 2025 beendet.<\/p>\n

Die Webseite der ask! wird als Unterrubrik auf kolko e.V.<\/strong> <\/a>| Menschenrechte f\u00fcr Kolumbien weiter zug\u00e4nglich sein. Thomas Studer<\/h1>\n

Seit ich 2006\/2007 in einem lokalen Projekt in Kolumbien t\u00e4tig war, sind mir dieses Land und seine Leute sowie die Menschenrechtsarbeit zu einem grossen pers\u00f6nlichen Anliegen geworden. Die ask kann durch Informationsarbeit dazu beitragen, der lokalen Zivilbev\u00f6lkerung eine Stimme zu geben und vor allem auch die in Kolumbien engagierten Schweizer Akteure bez\u00fcglich ihrer Rolle und Verantwortung hinsichtlich Menschenrechtseinhaltung und Friedensf\u00f6rderung zu sensibilisieren.<\/p>\n
